    Wee Florist

This is one of two posts today, so be sure to scroll for more inspiration!
Happy Monday!  I have a card for you for One Crazy Stamper with the Wee Florist image by Whimsy Stamps.  These little ladies are so adorable and fun to color!

    I colored my image with the following Copic Markers:  E49, E47, E44, E43, E42, W7, W5, W32, W1, G46, G43, B45, B41, E02, E00, R85, R83, R81, E35, YR27, YR24, YR15, Y21.

I doodled around her and layered her over a Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Rectangle die.  Papers I used were from Simple Stories' Fabulous collection.  I embellished my card with some Prima pearls and some glittered butterflies.

    You Color My World

This is one of two posts today, so be sure to scroll for more inspiration!
This card is for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  I decided to think outside the box a bit and create a flower with one of the heart stamps in the Clearly Beautiful Hearts 2 set.

I stamped one heart in each of the following Tim Holtz Distress Inks and then glittered the centers with a coordinating You're So Fine Glitter.

Spiced Marmalade Ink - Copper Glitter
Fired Brick Ink - Patriot Red Glitter
Dusty Concord Ink - Purple Rocks Glitter
Stormy Sky Ink - Hanukkah Blue Glitter
Peeled Paint Ink - Limeade Green Glitter
Scattered Straw Ink - Gold Medal Glitter.

I stamped the border image from the Clearly Beautiful Scalloped Oval set with the Scrap Happy Glue.  Next, I let it dry and then I glittered it with the Diamond Clear Cool Highlight Glitter.  Buff the glitter to bring out the shimmer and then I embellished the border with Candi Dots.

Be sure to stop over on the Prickley Pear Blog...see what the other girls are up to!

    Listen To Your Soul

This is one of two posts today, so please scroll for more inspiration!
Happy Monday.....my week is off to a slow start here....but I had much fun creating this fun card for you today for One Crazy Stamper!

This image is from High Hopes Rubber Stamps and is called Fancy Birdhouse 1.  I looked, and YES! there IS a Fancy Birdhouse 2!

    I colored my images with the following Copic Markers:  BG57, BG53, E49, E47, E44, BG15, BG10, YG95, YG93, YR27, YR15, YR23, Y32.

Papers are from My Mind's Eye's Be Amazing collection.  The die is from Marianne Designs and is called the Lacey Oval.

    Hibiscus Thanks

This is one of two posts today, so please scroll for more inspiration!

It's Prickley Pear Monday and I have a blue and white beauty to share with you today!

This card uses Clearly Beautiful Hibiscus 2, Hibiscus Die, Mini Hibiscus die and Thanks to You.

I stamped the images with blue ink and then colored them with Faber-Castell Gelatos in Boysenberry and Blueberry.    To gain a watercolored effect like this, simply scribble the gelatos on your craft mat and mist with a bit of water.  Use a piantbrush to apply your color.

Other items used on this card:  Marvy Scalloped Punch, Martha Stewart Punches and a cArt Us embossing folder.

    Spread Your Wings!

This is one of two posts today, so be sure to scroll for more inspiration!
My second post today is for The Rubber Cafe.  The Large Trailing Butterflies did not leave my desk after last Sunday's post.

I have a new love....Scrap Happy Glue!  For my background of my card, I stamped my image in glue and then let it dry.  Once dry, I came back and covered it with Diamond Clear Cool Highlight You're So Fine Glitter!  Then, to bring out the shine, simply buff the images with your finger....your result: a beautiful and subtle background.

Next I stamped and colored my trailing butterflies.  I painted them with Faber Castel Gelatos in Cotton Candy and BlueBerry.  As a final touch, I added a bit of the Silver Metallic Gelatos for a subtle shimmer.  I fussy cut the painted butterflies and attached them with glue and foam tape for dimension.

I stamped the Spread Your Wings sentiment with Stazon ink onto Vellum.  Popped my ribbon on with some One and Only Tape.

    More Quirky Bird Cards!

Today I'm sharing my final three cards from the July Designed2Delight Release.  My first card features the Tropical Chick image.  I colored the image with Copic markers:  YG67, YG17, E49, E47, E44, E43, E42, B45, B41, YR16.  Sentiments come with each image, but you can also purchase the entire collection of Chick Sentiments if you wish.

All designer papers on these cards in My Mind's Eye's On The Bright Side One collection.  This card is embellished with a Prima flower, Candi Dot embellishments and a touch of doodling.
    My second card features the What's Up Chick.  I colored her with the following Copic markers: YG97, YG95, E47, E44, YR14, YR16, BG75, BG72, BG10.

I fussy cut the bird and popped him up on foam tape.  Some Tim Holtz Die cut flowers slightly distressed, a Paper Wishes Pinwheel Brad Buddy and some doodling embellish my card.
    Finally for my Birdbrain Balloon card, I colored my image with Copic Markers:  E47, E44, YG95, YG93, YR16, YR15, Y17, BG10, BG0000.

I cut apart my chevron papers to create a new striped chevron design.  I simply embellished with some white Candi Dots.

I hope you have enjoyed my parade of Quirky Birds....they were sure fun to make...and cover a range of occasions!  If you haven't yet, be sure to check out my 7/20 post and my 7/21 posts for more inspiration and your chance to win some fun!

    More Designed2Delight Inspiration!

If you are just happening by....after you've checked out this card trio, check out yesterday's post....for more inspiration and fun prize information!
I had so much fun coloring Faith's adorable images for the July Designed2Delight release!  My son was sick since Sunday night with some lovely virus giving him bouts of 104* fevers, so we've been laying low and hanging out in our familyroom/stamp studio.  Today we are celebrating because he's finally seen 98.7* again!  I was inspired to color this Sick Chick green...as he's just not feeling up to snuff!  Sentiments are from the Chick Sentiments set.

All of my cards use My Mind's Eye's On The Bright Side - One collection.  Copic markers used:  R35, R29, BG75, BG72, YG00, YG03, E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, YR14, YR15.  I used the Outside The Box technique on my cards, and added doodled frames to my images.  Twine and Candi Dots finish off my card.
    This fun card features bakers twine and a button for embellishment.  Copic markers used:  E43, E42, BG10, BG72, G43, G46, YR15, YR24, R32.
Finally, this little Birdbath Chick has the life!  Colored with Copic markers:  Y32, Y21, R35, R32, BG75, BG72, BG10, E40, E41, E42, YR16.  I kept this card simple and soft adding only some prima flowers and embellishments.

    Designed2Delight July Release!

For even MORE inspiration...check out my 7/21/12 post as well!

Well...Hello There!  Welcome to the July Designed2Delight Release!   I have a trio of cards to share with you today and six more cards to share with you soon...so come on back tomorrow for MORE inspiration with faith's fabulous images!  Check out all of the NEW RELEASE images.  These new images will be on sale until July 23!

We are having a challenge again this month...our readers are invited to use the color scheme from one of the designer's cards from the blog hop. They will have two weeks to enter, and Faith will select a winner! Check out all of the details on the Designed2Delight Blog!

My first card features the Bouquet Chick image.  I framed my image with some doodling and then cut it out using the Outside of the Box technique.  I love this technique!   I colored my image with the following Copic Markers:  YG17, R29, Y15, Y17, YR15, E44, E47, BG10.  I used papers from My Mind's Eye's On the Bright Side - One for all of my cards.

Each image has 2 or 3 sentiments that come with it as a bonus, but Faith is also offering all 15 sentiments in the Chick Sentiments set for $2 so you can interchange them all!

Birthday Pickup is another fun image.  I colored this image with the following Copic markers:  R29, R27, R02, E11, E02, N0, BG72, BG10, G43, W5, W7, E47, E44, E43, E42, G20, Y11.  I again added some doodling frames around my images and did some Outside of the Box cutting.  The button is vintage.
Finally for my last sample for today, I used the Bouquet Chick image without the Chick.  This makes an adorable bouquet for any occasion.  I chose Thank You!  Copics used on this card were:  YG67, YG17, R22, R21, R20, B97, B95.

    CropStop Photo Corner Challenge

This week's challenge on the CropStop blog is to use photo corners on your project.

I went with a HoneyComb Paper Pad card that features my Fabulous Flowers HoneyPop set with Inky Antics.  This flower is the 3D sort...not a card you would mail...but one that is fun to hand deliver or tuck in a gift box!  All of the pieces you need to make this flower are included in the set, the six petals, the small pink medallion flower and the rolled center piece.   The leaf and the grass are also pieces in the flower set.

The sentiment is from my Inky Antics 11104MC Simple Sentiments set and is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants Die.

We'd love to see your photo corner cards....you can check out the rest of the team's on the CropStop Blog.

    Wishin' For Winter!

Well...wishing for fall wasn't so successful yesterday....so maybe wishing for winter will bring some temperature relief and rain?!

This little beauty is a pre-colored image by Fred, She Said Designs.  Emma the Caroler is cut out with an oval Spellbinders die and sanded to pop out the frame a bit.

I layered this on the Diamond Rose with Paper Pricking Pattern pricking frame again colored with the Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pens in Ruby Metallic and Green Metallic.

Snowflake die is by SU! and the designer paper is FREEBIE digital paper from Fred, She Said Designs!

    Wonderful Washi!

This is one of two posts today, so be sure to scroll for more inspiration!
Today is Tips and Tricks Tuesday on the MarkerPop blog, and I just HAD to play with this lovely new Washi Tape that found it's way to my house!

My TIP for you....use it in the place of designer papers! A mere 19.5 inches of this lovely stuff....and you can create a border on your card as I did here! I just love this effect!

I then layered a white 4.5 x 3.25 inch panel to add some dimension. A second embossed layer measuring 4.25 x 3 inches comes next! I stamped Stamping Bella image called Gwendolyn Lulu and colored it with the following Copic Markers: e49, e41, e11, e000, w5, yr20, yr09, yr04, yg25, yg17. I added Spica Glitter Pen accents with Melon and Orange pens to the flowers, candles and ribbon.

I stamped the sentiment from Wild Rose Studio's Millie Baking set and then trimmed my image so it was *outside the box.* The stamped panel measures 3.5 x 2 inches. I added some paper piercing for added interest.

Finally, I added some glittered butterfly punches to finish my card....the ONLY designer paper on my project!

I hope this inspired you to look at Washi Tape in a new way....and maybe you'll think *outside the box* on your next stamped project!

    All Tied Up!

This is one of two posts today, so be sure to scroll for more inspiration!

Today's Digital Tuesday Challenge is All Tied Up!  Be sure to stop by and see the inspiration of the other gals, and play along for your chance to win some digital goodness!!

I decided to go with a fall image from Fred, She Said Digital Designs.  It's sweltering here in the midwest....I don't mind the thought of frost on the pumpkins!!

There are two pre-colored images here from the Pumpkins and Sunflowers and Sunflowers and Thankfulness sets.  I layered them over a third digital image for piercing from the Diamond Rose with Paper Pricking Pattern set.

For a fun change, instead of piercing, I used a Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen - Green Metallic and just *dotted* each of the prick marks on the pattern.  I distressed the image and the dotted frame panel with Walnut Stain and Frayed Burlap Distress inks.

I tied my card up with a length of found barn twine that has been in my stash for a long while.
    Happy Fall Y'all!

    Masculine Thanks

This is one of two posts today, so please scroll for more inspiration!
Today's Prickley Pear Monday card is another of the masculine sort!  I love the Clearly Beautiful Gears set and I paired it up with the Vintage Cards ATC and Thanks to You images for a fun background.

I stamped the various gears with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Peeled Paint, Pumice Stone, Stormy Sky and Dusty Concord.  The designer paper I stamped on is from GCD Studios and is the Antiquities collection.

I used my Scor-Bug and Scor-Pal to faux stitch my panel to my card.  A bit of ribbon and a few nailheads finish my card.

Be sure to stop by the Prickley Pear blog today and see what the other gals have been up to!

This is one of two posts today, so be sure to scroll for more inspiration!
A simple title for a Clean And Simple card for One Crazy Stamper!  My niece has a birthday coming right up....and this image is perfect!

This adorable image called Hello by Stampavie inspired my pink, black, grey and white color scheme.
I colored my image with the following Copic Markers:  110, T4, T2, N3, RV10, E42.  I used a pink Sharpie permanent marker for my phone details and used a Signo white gel pen to add the detailing on the phone back in after coloring it black.  I also highlighted kitty's eyes with the white gel pen.  Finally, I distressed the image with Tim Holtz Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

I used a simple designer paper and some stickers to add my sentiment.  Sometimes clean and simple just strikes me, and in this case I wanted the image to shine!

    Large Trailing Butterflies

Hello!  With the hot and steamy Wisconsin weather, I felt like cooling things down a bit with this fresh and crisp color scheme for my Rubber Cafe post.  This is super simple and quick card to make that still gives a fun pop of color.

I stamped Words of Inspiration in a soft grey ink on white cardstock.  Next I stamped Large Trailing Butterflies over the image with black ink.  I colored the images with Copic Markers B45, B41, V25 and V22.  I accented my butterflies with the blue and purple spica glitter pens.    My stamped panel is embellished with a bit of ribbon and some Candi dot embellishments.

There are staples and a touch of foam tape for dimension.  I added a HoneyComb border for a fun touch.

For my second card I used some Paper Embroidery along with Candi Embellishments and Prima flowers .
I added the sentiment from my new Inky Antic's sentiment set.

Accordian Style Card Box with Card Set

Hello and Welcome to 3D Thursday! Today I'm sharing a tutorial to make a fun Accordian Card Box that would be perfect for storing your cards or gifting to a friend. This is my take of the Splitcoast Stampers' Accoridan Style Card Holder.

To begin you will need (1) 6x12 and (1) 4x6 inch piece of patterned paper. Score the long side of your 6x12 cardstock at 4.5, 6.5 and ll inches. Punch the 6 inch side of your 4x6 piece with a decorative edge punch. Score along the 4 inch side from the unpunched edge at 2 inches.

Next add Scor-Tape to the 1 inch flap on your 6x12 inch cardstock shown and attach your punched flap.
Next cut (2) 3.75 x 4 inch pieces of coordinating cardstock. Score every .5 inch on the 4 inch side.
Fold up as an accordian and attach to your 6x12 panel as shown. Note you are adding it to the bottom of the panel, near the score line and the edge of the cardstock.

Repeat the process to close your box. Add some coordinating cardstock inside your flap to cover your seam if you wish. I added two more strips of tape on each side of the one pictured near the scor lines. This  piece will measure 2x6 inches.

Attach a magnet to the inside center of your box and the top flap to close your box. I embellished the top and bottom edges of my card box with coordinating fabric tape and added stickers to label my box Cards. Next you can make dividers that measure 5.5 inches x 3 7/8 inches. I used 1 3/4 inch circle punches for the tabs and various stamps to label my sections. Simply slip the dividers in the folds and then add your cards.
For my first card I used an adorable Wild Rose Stamp called Millie Baking.  I used some of the coordinating Fabric Tape to embellish my card.

My second card features a Magnolia image called Tida Offshore.  I used more of the fabric tape to perch her on.  Add sentiment if desired.
My third card features a Gorjuss image called Rainy Daze.  Add sentiment as desired.

And my final card features a Wild Rose image I love to color called Mia With Candy. This is the tag I made last week, which I converted into an adorable card. Just another idea...and this card completes my card set. I hope you've enjoyed my take on this fun little card box!

    Copics used on these cards include: YG23, YG13, B000, B23, B26, BG10, BG0000, R89, R29, R02, RV10, W5, W3, YR24, E11, E41, E43, E44. Michelle Pearson - Inspiration Blooms

    One Crazy Monday....

It's still Monday for a few hours!  GASP!  It's been a busy week around here with Swimming Lessons, Piano Lessons, Birthday/Pool Parties and some CHA design work!

Today I'm sharing a card for One Crazy Stamper using an Inky Antics HoneyPop set.  This set is called Turtle and has some fun images and sayings in it.

These sets work with the HoneyComb Paper Pads to create a fun 3D surprise on the inside of your card.

For the front of my card, I used my new Fabulous Flowers stamp set with Inky antics to create the grass and the rosette flower.  These are super simple to use and create quite the fun flat embellishments for your card.

I colored these images with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  I used papers from the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Collections.

I layered Mr. Turtle here on a Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page panel.

    Mia With Candy

It's Saturday and time for Anything But A Card on the MarkerPoP blog.  I went with a tag to embellish a simple little Chinese Take Out Box.

I stamped Wild Rose Studio's image Mia with Candy on white cardstock.  I wanted a funky tag shape, so I traced a tag that I liked to frame my image.  I cut a second shape the same size since I wanted it to be substantial and also thicker to stitch.

I pierced around the edge and then stitched with some coordinating embroidery floss.  I wanted the stitching to be prominent, so I used all six strands.

I trimmed the bottom of the tag with a ribbon and a trim to hide the stitching tails and ground my image.  Finishing touches include some Twinkling Clouds sparkle flock for her hat trim and Glossy Accents for the candy cane and berries.

    Copics used:  W5, YG67, YG17, YG07, YG05, R89, R29, R27, E59, E57, E53, E02, E00.

The Take Out Box is from Michaels, and I embellished it with a flower from my new Inky Antics Flower stamp set.  You simply stamp the flower shape you want onto a HoneyComb paper pad and cut out several pieces.  Stretch out the honeycomb piece and wrap around a gluber to create a rosette.  These are perfect for embellishing little boxes and bags for any occasion!

    CropStop ~ LOVE Challenge!

Today's CropStop challenge is LOVE!  So I decided to go with a bunch of stamping things that I LOVE!

I'll start with the cardbase and work up!

    ~Black Cardstock
~Bo Bunny Enchanted Collection (which is black and white)
~Tim Holtz Worn Lipstick Distress Ink (applied with Ink Blending Tool and Ink Blending Foam)
~Spellbinders Fleur De Lis corner dies
    ~Candi Dot embellishments
~HoneyComb Paper and my new Inky Antics Flower set
~embroidery floss which I stitched up....to add interest.  No pattern..just center of scallop to the outside for the long stitches and then halfway between the long stitches to create the zig zag pattern.

I will give you my CropStop Coupon Code if you need to add some of MY favorites to YOUR favorites!
CTMP-2 will save you 10% on your ENTIRE order!  Enjoy!!
