Clearly Spring!
It's Embellish-Online's Friday Challenge 38. This week's hostess is Debbie.
The Challenge: I Can See Clearly Now
Details: Use clear transparencies or embellies on your projects. You can stamp on them or make clear projects, even clear buttons. There has to be something clear on your project.
I used white Stazon to stamp Prima's Newsprint stamp and Magenta's swirl stamp on the acetate. The collage stamp is by inkadinkadoo and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of cardstock done with the shaving cream technique. I popped up the dragonfly tile and framed it with Art Institute's Crystal Glitter. The flower is from SU!'s Looks Like Spring set. I inked the stamp in Bashful Blue ink and then highlighted one edge of each petal with Brilliant Blue ink. I cut it out for fun. Pin is from Making Memories and is tied with a sheer ribbon scrap. Martha Stewart Butterfly punch has been embossed with the Cuttlebug Textile Embossing Folder. Adhesive gems make the body.
Assembly of the card.... Layer the Bashful Blue layer to the inside of the card, center the white layer. I put the glue dots on the top of the next Bashful Blue layer, center it as you want and then shut the card. Finally attach the black matted stamped piece to the top of the card where you want it. I'm thinking my card is *clearer* than my instructions.....but I tried!!
