Paper Piecing Fun!
Hello there! Sorry it's been a bit quiet....tis the season for graduations and end of year activities and we are helping my father-in-law move to our town, so summer is off to a great start!
I have been stamping a bit...and today's cards were inspired by this old Basic Grey collection that I have tons of scraps for. The scraps turned into about 12 paper pieced backgrounds all set for masculine cards.
The first card features a Stampscapes stamp that has been stamped with Stazon ink onto a piece of glossy paper that I did the polished stone technique on for a fun sunset effect. The little fishermen are by Stampendous and the Thinking of You is from Prickley Pear.
This second card features a stamped image that I cut down from it's original state. I simply cut the image in an Out of the Box technique and colored it with Copic Markers. The papers lend a fun beachy feel to the card.
Thanks for stopping by!
