Masculine Sympathy

Sympathy cards are never easy to make...this one is for a man taken too soon by our human thinking. 

I mixed images from Tim Holtz's Great Outdoors set, A Stampin Up sympathy set and an Inkadinkadoo deer image. 

The stump is stamped and distressed with Oxide Inks.  The hymn is a vintage piece from a tattered hymn book that just seemed to fit. 

The background is the Tim Holtz Tree 3D embossing folder that has been distressed with Oxide Inks. 

I used a bit of linen hand embroidery to embellish the card.
