Happy Birthday to me!
A perfect opportunity to make a girly-girl card!
This card uses the Large Swirl Butterfly from The Rubber Cafe. I stamped it on a piece of glossy cardstock that I had done the Smackin' Acetate Technique with. I used SU! reinkers for this technique rather than markers. I used Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery and Pretty In Pink. It fades out quite a bit when dry, but that is perfect for stamping the image on. I love the soft watercolored effect it gives.
I added some Mark Richard's Crystal Stickers to the butterfly for some added bling. Designer Paper is from BasicGrey's Euphoria Collection. The flourishes are a Sizzix Die I picked up from SU! I cut them in white cardstock and then added some white pearl glitter for some added dimension and bling!
And a bit of fun news that I'll share today! I'm happy to have the opportunity to represent The Rubber Cafe as a Design Team Member for another term! I look forward to working with their original stamps! Thank you Melissa, for the opportunity!
