Paper Weaving Tutorial with the September Creative Cafe' Kit
Today's card for The Rubber Cafe features the Paper Weaving technique.
The first thing I did to create this fun backgound is to cut 1/2 inch strips from most of the papers in the paper pack in the Creative Cafe' Kit.
It's a bit hard to see in this photo, but I ran tape down the left side, bottom and diagonally from top left to bottom right of a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch panel. Start weaving papers as shown.

When you complete the weaving, flip your panel over and trim off the excess tails.
I then inked the edges of the woven piece with a black ink pad before attaching it to my black cardstock panel.
I added the paperclip on this card with a bit of Scrap Happy Glue. I could have clipped it, but I wanted to see all of the color on the clip, so I glued it on top of the image panel.
