Caught Napping

A fun little belated birthday card....and somehow, although I love to *make* cards, I never seem to get them sent out on time!!! Colored this image with Copic/Studio2 Markers and highlighted the water with the Spica Glitter pens. I hand-doodled around the main image, a fun way to make it pop. Used up a scrap of the Swiss Dot Cuttlebugged paper and tied it with some delish May Arts ribbon. I used the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug embossing folder on the Basic Grey paper from the Oh Baby! Boy collection. Then I sanded it with a sanding block to distress it even further. The base paper is SU!'s Sahara Sand. The verse is done with Karen Foster's Snap Stamps and the Happy Birthday is by savvystamps.

I want to share some lovely blog candy from Catherine St. Claire that arrived this week in my snailmail box!!! The card is gorgeous....It's so shimmery!!! I can't wait to use the stamp...thanks much!!!

And one last card from my SCS DSS Big Sister....it's just too cute!! ...........and true!!! I can't wait to find out who she is....she's been filling my mailbox faithfully for the last 3 months.....a great big sis!!!
