Great Impressions & Northwoods

I've been playing with some Northwoods and Great Impressions stamps this week....and here are a few that I came up with!

The Faux Postage Stamp is by Just For Fun. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then masked it with some 3/16 inch masking tape. I stamped the sunflower by Northwoods over it and then colored the image with Copic Markers and Spica Glitter pens. I masked the image and then sponged with with SU!'s Baja Breeze ink.

I stamped the butterfly on a separate piece of cardstock and cut it out. I mounted it flat on the bottom and with pop dots on the top for added dimension. The 1-inch satin ribbon is by May Arts and I seriously used only about 2 inches...tricky, eh?! Photo corner punches are by SU! and I used Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for added dimension.
This is another image by Northwoods that I colored with Copic Markers and accented with Spica Glitter pens. I used some 3M adhesive photo corners and matted the image on SU!'s River Rock cardstock. For some gentle distressing I ran my fingernail down the edge of the panel.
The background is a piece of old sheet music that I clear embossed SU!'s Fine Lace on. Then I used Tim Holtz's Distress Ink in Shabby Shutters to add some subtle color. The ribbon was a RAK. I like the artsy botanical feel to this one!

This is a Great Impressions image that I stamped on ivory cardstock and colored with my Copic Markers. I added accents to the apples and barn trim with my Signo White Gel Pen. The cardstocks are Bazzil and Heidi Grace. The flower is the old sheet music again with a SU! 5 petal flower punch and some bronze shimmery cardstock with Martha Stewart's Cornflower punch. The brads are all by Making Memories. Piercing adds a fun touch. I used Cuttlebug's Paisley Embossing Folder and distressed it with a bit of Memento Rich Cocoa Ink to make it pop....my very own bandana accent!

This final card features another Great Impressions image. I colored it with copics, masked the image and then added some sponging and distress inks. Flowers are by Prima and Doodlebug, sentiment and Top Note Die are by SU! Designer Papers are by Heidi Grace.

You are one busy person! Love your cards. I really like the postage stamp one at the top--I have that stamp and don't think I have ever used it! Thanks for the beautiful example.

Jeepers! You have some beautiful creations! Keep up the good work!
Wow - so much beauty in one post! A Faux Postage stamp???? That's like cheating - I thought it was a technique (that's still on my to-try list!). But a stamp makes it easy! Love the butterfly, and your coloring is just terrific. Thanks for the eye candy this morning!
