Digital Tuesday Challenge 61 - Let's Get Trendy!

Happy Tuesday! Shelly is this week's hostess for the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog.

The challenge is simple - pick a trend (Retro, the 80's, a fashion trend, famous color combo, etc.) and create a project around that trend. For this challenge you are the master of your design and can go with what inspires you.

I used the Barn Girl image from In Style Stamps. I printed the image on Kodak's matte photo paper and then distressed the base image with Tim Holtz's Barn Door and Frayed Burlap distress inks. I then applied Antique Linen distress ink to the horse portion on another printed image, cut it out and applied it to my prepared base layer. Finally, I colored the barn girl with Copic markers, cut her out and popped her up on foam tape.

My trends are paper tole, which was popular when I was a youngster and the country color theme of red, white and blue that I also remember being popular. Thanks for stopping by!!
