Guava Wishes....

Thanks for all of your comments....it's been fun reading all of your comments.....and I'm still working on the 10,000 posts....so if you haven't yet, go comment on the blog candy post!! I need to figure out how to keep it up on top until the winners are drawn...and Maria sent me directions....but oh, which pile did I put them in for to find real easy-like when I *needed* them next! LOL!

The card is SU!....I've been working with the Priceless set this week. I ran the designer paper through the cuttlebug and then sanded it and faux stitched it. The green swirl is inked in Certainly Celery ink and then I colored some of the swirls with the Always Artichoke marker.
The flowers are stamped in Coral and then I used the Pretty in Pink marker to shade the solid center flower. Finally I overstamped the tiny flower in coral and added a pink EK Success crystal. The butterflies are stamped in Rose Red on vellum and are attached in the center only so the wings flutter. Flowers are popped up with foam tape. I pierced around the River Rock oval punch and distressed the white flower panel. Thanks for stopping by!!

This is such a pretty color combination! I love it. Priceless is high on my wish list, but I'm trying NOT to spend money on more crafting items. That is difficult, especially when I'm going to a rubber stamp flea market tomorrow!

There's probably a cool way to keep the post at the top, but what you could do is just "edit" the post, and at the bottom, you can select "post options", and just change the day to today's date and update the time to the current time. That will then put it at the top of your posts.

Have a GREAT weekend!

What a beautiful card - that swirl in the middle gives it an elegant touch and those butterflies on vellum are super!
Michelle, this is beautiful! It took me quite awhile to figure out what embossing folder you used. The stripes look like it's just the patterned paper's design.

What a gorgeous card. I love this stamp set. I love the distressed look, especially the embossed background. Will be casing this as soon as I get that embossing folder.

This is SO pretty! I love your cuttlebugging and sanding and faux-stitching. I've got to add that to my list of cuttlebug techniques. Awesome idea! :0) mel

I love the way you used the flourish for the stems and leaves for the flowers. I will have to give that a try!!
