Fred, She Said - 4U!

I'm playing catch-up on my cards after a weekend of family fun. This card is for the Digital Tuesday Challenge. I used images from Fred, She Said Digital Designs: Faux Foldy Flowers v1 editionA. I used two of the 10 colors for this card. I wanted a clean and simple summery birthday card.

This card rotates to open, and I've created a little pocket to hold a little note or gift of money.

Card base is an Archiver's scalloped circle. I used Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird Crafting Kit for my circle, and SU!'s Old Olive for my embossed pocket. I used the Swiss Dot embossing folder along with SU!'s Scalloped Edge punch for a fun finished look, along with the faux stitching. Basic Grey brads in two sizes fit my flowers perfectly. I'm not sure it's evident in the photo, but I have scored each leaf and petal for added dimension.

The letters are Rootbeer Thickers from American Crafts.
