Let's Get Together!

For this card I used the sketch for Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge 9. Check out her awesome blog candy offering! Someone is going to have a LOT of fun!

I'm still having fun with Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird Crafting Kit which can be purchased at Embellish-Online.com. The colors are fun and different from those I usually select. The image is Stampavie's Shopping Girl, which I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored with Copics and highlighted with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I used the prismacolors since I really didn't have any Copics the right color, and it's a fun way to expand your color selection. I also added highlightes with Copic's Spica Glitter Pens and a white gel pen. Faux stitching and distressing add some detail and texture. I inked the edges of my distressing with a Fresco Chalk Ink Pad; Medici Marble. The sentiment is a metal sticker from Magenta. Base cardstock is SU's Riding Hood Red.
