Sitting Pretty Copic Reinker Background Tutorial!
Hello there! Michelle Pearson here today to share a fun Tip using Copic Various Refills to create a fun background paper!
Supplies for my card include:*Whimsy Stamps Blossom Berry Sitting Pretty image
*Copic Markers: E21, E02, V25, V22, V06, V04, R02, B00, B01, C1, G20, G14, G12, E35, YR23, Y21, BG45, E47, E44.
Drop some of the reinker around on the acetate and then spritz with water or the pearlized water as desired. Then, working quickly, add a bit of alcohol and using a piece of white cardstock, mop up your mess!
Keep playing with it adding ink, pearlized water and alochol until you get the effect you like. Check out that awesome shimmer with the beautiful color scheme!
Once dry, emboss the panel if desired and it is a fresh and fun textural delight!
To create my background, I did a variation on the Smackin' Acetate technique I learned years ago. For this version...I used a piece of acetate (because my craft mat has slices in it, a craft mat would work as well). I grabbed three reinkers in soft tones, some water in a mister and then some water/pearlex in another mister. One more thing not pictured is either alcohol or alcohol blending solution.
