I'm a sucker for flower stamps....and Penny Black ones especially!! I just love flowers....they make me happy. This was another card for my sympathy workshop...but it could easily be made into another occasion card. The paper is Bazzil....the monochromatic packs are so handy....they make matching shades super-easy! I used SU Markers on the flower...coloring it first in Lavender Lace and then adding accents in Lovely Lilac. I did the same with the stems...coloring them first in Old Olive and then adding accents in Always Artichoke. The sentiment is done on the computer....all of my stamps are long and narrow....and not what this card needed. I added faux stitching on this one...but no distressing. One more of the vellum butterflies just finished the card off. Emboss SU! butterfly twice in white on vellum, cut out and attach only in the center so the wings *flutter*.
