Fred She Said Blog Hoppin!
Today we're having serious Fred She Said fun.....blog hoppin! This is your chance to meet all of the new design team members! We each created a card that reflects our style....so leave some love if you like what you see!! ....and for YOU.....collect a word on each blog along the hop and we'll tell you what to do with it at the last stop...for a chance to win a $20CAD gift certificate from Fred, She Said Designs AND a $20 gift certificate to Crop Stop!
If you are starting in the middle of the hop....be sure to head back here to get all of your words....and see lots of awesome inspiration!
In true *michelle* style....this card started by cleaning off my desk. You saw earlier this week I was playing with these pre-colored images from the Sunflowers and Thankfulness set. I just happened to have one on my desk all nicely cut out and distressed. I decided since I was going the pre-colored route to try something new to me....paper embroidery. This is my first shot at it...and I learned a few things along the way.
1. Metallic floss is a pain to work with...but oh, so pretty!
2. Find the tiniest piercer you own...I like my results much better once I remembered I had a tinier one! Bummer for me it was after I had pierced Love...but should I do this again...it's fresh in my brain!
Making memories designer paper, Archiver's scalloped panel, martha stewart butterfly punches and paper embroidery patterns from Design Originals. You will be seeing more paper embroidery from me!
My word is TEAM and your next stop on the hop is Marlena's blog! Enjoy!
