Friendship Set

Well....I wasn't quite ready to post this last night...but I'll get it up this morning! These are some 6.25 inch Petal Folders from Paper Adventures. A friend of mine picked some up and had no idea what to do with them. This is the first thing that I thought of...a heart pocket to hold some note cards! I used four 6x6 pieces of designer paper (thanks Alana!! ....a PIF gift, so source is unknown) I used faux stitching on the floral paper. I pierced freehand all of the way around the heart and the pocket flaps for a more delicate look. May Arts ribbon hides two of the folds. I used Diamond Glaze to customize my clear buttons to match. Punches used include SU!, Martha Stewart, Marvy, EK Success. Flowers are by Prima.

Cards are simple and I tried to only use matching supplies. All card bases are white...I've been on a white card base kick lately....but I like the fresh and crisp look it gives. The cuttlebugged piece is River Rock by SU!....I sure wish this wasn't an *in color* ....it could surely replace Glorius Green, don't you think?! Ribbon is by May Arts. Flower is made with SU!'s oval punches. Not an original idea....but I've been wanting to try it and I added the piercing around the edges for a bit of interest.

These are the other two cards in the set. I used the SU! slit punch down the side and then added the 1/8 inch circle punch for interest. The ribbon tab is actually one of the slit punch tabs that I punched through the front of the card and tied just for fun. I thought of that all by myself....hee hee....small things thrill me in the middle of the night!!

Speaking of friends...I got another lovely card from Jacqueline.....just love her soft feminine style....I'm lovin the swirly stamps on this one....thanks much...my mailbox loves mail from France!!
