Pretty Posey

I have another HoneyPop creation for One Crazy Stamper today.  I just love the cute cards that can be made with these sets.
This is the Pretty Posey set.  I used the yellow honeycomb paper pad for the flower center.  On the front of the card I used my Inky Antics stamp set and a brown honeycomb paper pad for the front border on the card.

The image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.

MarkerPOP/Shinhan Touch Twin Marker Blog Hop!

Welcome to the MarkerPOP! and  Shinhan Touch Twin marker blog hop!

Our teams are joining today to bring you a fun filled hop featuring a variety of stamps carried at the MarkerPOP! store that have been colored with Touch Twin markers which are available at MarkerPOP!

The hop starts today and will be open until December 19th. Enter by commenting on all the blogs in the hop (see blog list below).

About Shinhan Touch Twin Markers: Designed for artists, Touch Twin markers feature an advanced alcohol-based ink formula that ensures rich color saturation and coverage, with silky ink flow. Touch Twin Brush markers feature two nibs (Brush and Chisel) to achieve a wide range of strokes, from fine lines to wide color fills. The delivery of ink flow can be perfectly controlled to allow precision drawing. The ergonomically designed rectangular body resists rolling on work surfaces and provides a perfect grip that avoids smudges and smears. A specially designed safety cap stacks neatly and prevents damage to the nibs. The Touch Twin marker contains an alcohol-based ink that doesn’t dissolve printed ink toner, allowing for odorless, vividly colored artwork on printed materials.

I used Whiff Of Joy's image called Henry With Large Cup.  I colored the image with the following Shinhan Touch Twin Markers:  PB183, PB185, GY47,  R15, R18, YR132, BR104, BR109, BR134, BR100.  Papers are from Simple Stories' Handmade Holidays collection.

For an additional touch of dimension, I fussy cut the cocoa mug and popped it up on foam tape.

Happy Monday!  I have some Inky Antics goodness for you today for my One Crazy Stamper Post!
I decided to go with this adorable HoneyPop set because this cute little fellow just makes me grin!

He is colored in the traditional Inky Antics way; Prismacolor Pencils and blended out with Gamsol.
I dressed the feller up a bit with a glittery bow that I fussy cut and popped on with a glue dot.

Inside of the card is the HoneyPop surprise!  The dear little fellow is holding up his HoneyPop apple.  The flower centers bordering the inside of this card are glittered as well for an additional touch of fun!

Papers for this card are from My Mind's Eye's Lime Twist Life of the Party and Fly A Kite collections.

Glitter and Acetate with Embossing Folders

Hello there!  Today's Glue-ista post for The Rubber Cafe features a fun technique with You're So Fine Glitter and Scrap Happy Glue!

I just love the look of running acetate through an embossing's just so......nifty!  I used product packaging for this project...though acetate works too.
Once embossed, I flipped the panel over and then proceeded to add glue and glitters color by color starting with the darkest colors of glitter and working towards the lighter ones.

The glue will be white on the reverse side until it dries...but once it have a gorgeous bacground panel. The glitter is all contained, so it doesn't even come off!

I attached my acetate panel to my card with glue dots behind the flower centers or petals.

Woven Washi Tape Tutorial!

Hello! Today I have a post for MarkerPop; a photo tutorial of the Woven Washi Tape Technique that I used on yesterday's Lawn Fawn/Marker Pop Blog Hop!
1. Choose two tapes that you want to work with. I chose two 1/2 inch tapes, and so used a 3x3 inch square piece of coated cardstock. I found that you need to have a cardstock that won't separate onto the tape as you repeatedly lift the pieces as you are weaving.
2. Continue to add pieces of tape carefully lifting and tucking as you go.
3. When you are done, trim and tuck the tails behind your panel. The variety of backgrounds you can achieve is as broad as your Washi Tape collection!
4. You can vary the pattern of your weave, see the Double Weave Variation above...I simply wove over two strips and then under two strips. 5. The Faux Weave piece was done with tape that already has a variety of patterns on it. I simply laid tape down in strips, carefully matching the designs so it looks like I did some fancy cutting, when in reality I simply laid down strips of tape! The possibilities are endless!
I hope you've been inspired you use your Washi Tape in a new way! I'm pretty sure I've inspired myself to purchase some more Washi Tape!! Love the stuff!

The HoneyPop flowers on these cards are from my Inky Antics 11102SC Fabulous Flowers stamp set!
