Happily Ever After

We're forecast to get us some fresh white stuff here tonight/tomorrow!! No, I don't have to shovel....so will enjoy it from the inside...and what's a girl to do but stamp?!

The base of this card is Bayou Blue (SU!) the darker blue is Not Quite Navy (SU!). The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Dasher collection. The snowman image is from Whipper Snapper and is colored with Copic/Studio2 markers. You might not be able to tell, but I painted the snowmen/snow with a mixture of micropearl powder, gum arabic and water for a slight sheen. I also used my Sakura Quickie Glue Pen and Art Institute crystal glitter on the snow.

The large snowflake was a scrap from a large snowflake punch. I merely trimmed around the edges and made my own snowflake embellishment! My *found recycled item* laid on my desk for quite a while....but it just *belonged* on this card!! The small snowflake buttons are by Dress It Up! The *happily ever after* stamp is by Wordsworth. On this card I did the faux stitching in black. Thanks for stopping by...and stay warm!!!!
