Springtime!

Ok, so I'm dreaming....we got lamblasted again today with snow! Probably 6 inches out there....YUCK! I saw grass this morning...but tonight it's a winter wonderland again!

This lace flower (K-1118) and springtime are by The Rubber Cafe. This card is quick and fun to make. (If you like the flower, contact Melissa at The Rubber Cafe and give her the item number I provided above)

I embossed a white panel with Cuttlebug's Paisley Embossing Folder and layered it on a white card.

The background is the Baby Wipe Technique. I use a piece of glossy cardstock, a wet wipe, SU! reinkers and an unsharpened pencil. I make a *stamp* by quartering the wet wipe the long way and wrapping it around the pencil. By *pinching* the ends together, you make a stamp of sorts. Add your reinker drops to the bottom of your stamp, leaving space between them if you what white streaks in your background paper. Then just pull the pencil over the glossy cardstock.

Finally I stamped the image, trimmed and faux stitched the panel. Thanks for taking a peek!
