Spooktacular News!

I'm excited to share five cards with you today....my first posting as a designer for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps...where classic meets whimsy!! I love the variety of things they carry; transparencies, rubber stamps (mounted or unmounted), clear stamps, matching dies and so much more! I'm looking forward to exploring it all here on my blog in the coming year!!

My first card features the Dancing Witch image, which I stamped in black Stazon over a panel that I did the polished stone technique on. This is super quick and fun to do with alcohol inks and a gold metallic ink. The details on this image are so fun with the bats and webs on her hat and skirt and the owl on her hat! I omitted the cat since I wanted to use the word *wicked* from the By The Pricking image on my card. I popped up my matted sentiment on a bit of foam tape. Designer paper was in my scrap drawer and says October all over it. I faux stitched it to my black panel.

My next four cards feature transparencies from Prickley Pear. These are pre-printed and are super-fun to work with.

This card features the glitter/acetate technique on the moon and pumpkins. I love the way this pops on the dark designer paper. I ran the designer paper through Cuttlebug's spiderweb embossing folder and centered my moon over the center of the web...love the effect of moon rays after I sanded it lightly! The background has been stamped with Swirly Bat in black ink.

I used the polished stone technique on this card. I used cranberry, black and gold alcohol inks on glossy paper. I attached my transparency with glue dots and thin strips of sticky tape around the edges. BOO is from a Cuttlebug die cut alphabet. The card and web are made on black glossy cardstocks.

This card uses metallic cardstocks in navy and dark purple. I used navy, indigo and gold inks on this polished stone background. I love how the ghost's eyes are over a gold spot on the cardstock and appear to be glowing! Gem is from Dress It Up!

Finally this little pumpkin fella is on a more muted piece of polished stone and is paired with the metallic purple cardstock and Dress It Up! gems. Designer paper is from Karen Foster.

So, that is all I have for you today...I can't wait to play with fall and winter images from Prickley Pear soon! I'm thrilled to have this opportunity!

Wow! You have been busy. Great cards - I can't choose a favorite - although I am a bit afraid of that dancing witch! LOL
