Spring Is Here!

Happy Thursday!  Today's card for the Rubber Cafe features the Egg-stra Special stamp set!  Spring is not almost here...we just got piles of freshly fallen snow and the world is a wonderland with it piled on the tree branches!  It is still fun to think of spring....so I pulled out this fun set and put birds and flowers and bees onto my card!

I used some embellishments that came with the Creative Cafe Kit originally and added a coordinating pearl to the center of my felt flower.  I love how the paper looked when I cut it to create a fun detailed edge.  Also note how my plaids lined up on the Welcome Spring sentiment...somethings you just can't plan.
I stamp the best when things just happen...this card was made using scraps from other cards I had made with this kit.  The rainbow striped paper measures 4 x 5/8 inches.  The flowers are fussy cut from another scrap of the designer paper from the Echo Park Sunny Days Ahead paper pad.  I attached them to my card with glue dots.

The blue cardstock that I stamped on and colored with Copic markers measures 4 x 2 1/2 inches.
The green paper measured 4 x 2 inches before I cut the bottom detailing.  I attache the green paper and the top strip with foam tape for added dimensional interest.  The blue panel is attached flat.
