Daddy's Girl!

Well I finally finished this at 2:45am....but I had a lot of fun putting this together. I've always been intrigued by the large letters. I wanted a big black one for my ds's room...but never found the exact font and style I was looking for. I ran across these at Hobby Lobby, they are cardboard and I made this one for dd's room.

I painted the letter white. The designer paper is from the Lilykate collection by Basic Grey. I stamped various stamps from Fancy Pants' Simply Said collection and SU! on the paper and then randomly embossed it with the Cuttlebug Diamond embossing folder. I sanded the embossing to make it pop. Faux stitching and distressing finished off the base layer.

The medallion behind the butterfly is tea bag folding, the kite fold, using the Chenille designer paper by BG. The butterfly is from SU! and is embossed in white on blue vellum. The ribbon and buttons are vintage.

Stunning!!!! Glorious!!! Fantabulous! Gorgeous! Just a couple of words but DebbieDee was bang on: words just don't do this justice. I really LOVE the way your black texts pops against the soft colours. The double butterfly is great too. SO Funky! :0)
