Empunchlar Anniversary Card

I made this card for the Friday Challenge at Embellish-It Scrapbooking....don't tell anyone I'm a few weeks late on this one! I was away the week it posted...but I definately wanted to play along. The challenge was to make a card edgy with sweet scallops or pinked edges as your finishing touch.

I had some punched panels here that I made with and Empunchlar tool some time ago. I hand cut around the outside edge of the frame and then layered it on a scalloped circle panel from Archiver's. The purple flowers are punched and the flower centers are actually tiny sun punches! I added the adhesive pearls to pretty it up some.

The opening portion of this card is the white part. I embossed it with the Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls Embossing Folder. Ribbon is from Martha Stewart's line. The Journaling Frame is from BasicGrey's Journal Block set. The Happy Anniversary is by The Peddler's Pack Stampworks. I cut around the journal block as well.

If you've been inspired to play along, please join us and put the code FC8 in as a keyword so we can find your work in the gallery!
