Swirled Dove

These fun stamps showed up in my mailbox today from The Rubber Cafe...and what's a girl to do but ink those babies up?! The card base is black SU! cardstock. I had a glossy die-cut heart card from The Paper Cut that I altered with alcohol inks....a quick version of the polished stone technique. Then I stamped LOVE randomly on the panel with black Stazon. I Faux Stitched around the heart and the panel. The Swirled Dove is stamped on some Shimmer Sheets by The Paper Company with black Stazon. I used my Alcohol pens in Cool Gray tones to highlight the swirls and added some pearls by Mark Richards to the bird's tail. The corner punches are by SU! I layered the larger and smaller shapes. The smaller corner was run through the Cuttlebug Brocade Embossing Folder. The Designer Paper behind the heart is from Hot Off The Press's Classic Cardmaker's Pack.

Thanks for stopping by...and be sure to check out yesterday's post if you are interested in some BLOG CANDY!!
