Swirled Lovey Doveys

In my true to form *use what's on my desk fashion,* this card came together! The heart is on a piece of thin junky typing paper that I used to protect the inside of my card of the previous post. This was too pretty to toss....so I prettied it up some. I stamped the Swirled Love stamp from The Rubber Cafe in black ink and then ran it through the Cuttlebug Script Embossing Folder and faux stitched it to a black panel. The Swirled Doves were stamped on acetate. As I did with the eagle, I flipped one over before doing the glitter and acetate technique on them with Art Institute Glitters. (276 Salmon Ultrafine Transparent and 189 Pearl Ultrafine Pearlescent)
After they dried I cut them out and ran them through my Xyron Sticker maker machine. A little tip.....rub the back of the release paper with a bone folder to push the adhesive into the glitter. Another little note....I cut off the top wing so I could get both birds on one card....they are sitting!! The embossed flowers are by Prima Marketing, the black flower pinwheels are from Paper Wishes. The base cardstock is Glimmer Paper for added sheen.

Thanks for taking a peek at what I've been up to! Tomorrow night I select a blog candy winner....so check it out for a chance to get some spook-tacuolar goodies!
