First Measurable Snowfall

We had our first measurable snowfall today...and my son was up and itching to shovel before he was off to school! This image is by Whipper Snapper and is another $1.00 wonder I picked up! Here are the card details: Night of Navy (SU!) base cardstock. Bashful Blue (SU!) cardstock is run through the Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing Folder. I hit this one with the white Memories Dye Inkpad for some contrast. The frame is made with a corner punch (the one I *borrowed* from my mom!)...and then I turned it into a shaker card. The snow is Vintage Glass Glitter by Barbara Trombley...it's actually glass shards! It's a fun change from glitter. Image is colored with Copic Markers. Ribbon is by Martha Stewart, Snowflake is by Making Memories...I ran it through the Xyron sticker machine and then covered it with Art Institute's Pearl, Pearlescent Ultrafine Glitter.

Thanks for the hint running the snowflake through the sticker maker!! I wondered how to get glitter on those little critters and never thought of that!! Great idea :-)
Awww! He is too adorable, I love the way you did the shaker (and vintage glass shards. How cool is that!) :O)
