Thanks Mom!

Twinkling H2O's are the coloring method on this card. I have these and don't often grab them, but I had a hoot today coloring this flower in many different hues! To achieve this look I did not soak the cakes, but I used a wet brush to pick up some color and painted with them. (Mom's tip!)This gives the color a more transparent feel, which I like.

On this flower I did not leave much white space and I layered two colors. On some of the others I left more white space and I think I like those even better. This is a retired SU! stamp which I stamped in stazon on white cardstock. I used Cuttlebug's Houndstooth Embossing Folder to add dimension. The scalloped panel and gems are from Archivers. Doily Lace punch is from Martha Stewart. Photo corner punch and ribbon are by SU!
