Friday Challenge 52 - Embrace Embossing!
Today I am the hostess for Embellish-Online's Friday Challenge. My challenge: To use DRY embossing on your card. Extra Credit if you use two different embossed textures for interest! Check out the challenge post here....I'm selecting one challenge participant and sending them a few goodies! So be sure you upload your card to the gallery, and use keyword FC52 so I can find your card....I hope you can play along...and GOOD LUCK! Please do not post your card on this post....I will select winners from the Embellish-Online Gallery only! Thanks! :)
This card uses BasicGrey's Urban Prairie for it's base layer. I saw some fun faux stitching somewhere a while back....so used it along the card border. I used SU!'s Top Note Die on white cardstock and ran it through the Script Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. The embossed heart is a Cuttlebug Die/Embossing set with SU!'s Pink Piorouette cardstock. I hit the embossing with a white Memories ink pad to make the embossing stand out a bit more. Sweet wishes is done with Karen Foster's snap stamps. The Stampavie image is colored with Copic Markers and highlighted with Copic Spica Glitter Pens. I used a few Martha Stewart punches to add butterflies and lace....and gems to finish it off.
