Lizzie Anne Happy Birthday and an INVITATION!
Today is the Blog Hop at Embellish-Online.com, and we'd like you to join us! Head over to the blog to read all about it!
I simply *love* Lizzie Anne's Jolies Fleurs set....and decided to use it for their birthday celebration. I used sketch 85 from their sketch challenges.
I used kraft cardstock as my base. The front of the card is 1-inch shorter than the back. The flower and flourish stabilize the card when it's propped open. I used BasicGrey's Bittersweet Collection for my designer paper. Each square is embossed with Cuttlebug's Script Embossing Folder, faux stitched and distressed.
The flowers are stamped on acetate with stazon, and then I applied Art Institute's ultrafine glitters to the back. When dry, I cut out each flower and used the Xyron to attach it to vanilla cardstock, and then trimmed them leaving a narrow border. The flourishes are by Sizzix, cut from vanilla cardstock and then glittered, they are gorgeous in real life! Thanks for taking a peek!
