MMSC13 - Sweet Baby!

This is my submission for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge 13! It is a variation of a thank you card I sent to my folks when my son was born. I hand stitched around my *quilt squares* that are cut from some pretty wrapping paper. I *tied* my quilt with blue floss.

The image is a SU! image from 1994....but I still think it's just adorable! I colored it with Copic Markers and highlighted it with Spica Glitter pens. The star was another from that set. I stamped it on the back of glitter paper and cut them out to be different sizes, matted them on Bashful Blue cardstock and cut them out again.

Oh, this is so precious and sweet! What a realistic looking baby quilt card. I just love the pastel blue and white baby colors and the pretty dp/wrapping paper :) What an adorable image too! Oh what a delicately precious card! Absolutely beautiful! Love the wrapping paper idea and the stitching makes it look like a real quilt! The image is so sweet and colors so soft! Love this card!

What an amazing card Michelle! That is stunning! Love all of the hand stitched details you have added! Super duper cute hun!!! We need to plan a play date too! I'm going to Copic Cert. this weekend and then Brent and I are headed to Mackinaw for a few days! Will be home after the 20th and then need to come and see you because I am in Michelle withdrawal! :)
