Vintage Love and Other Sweet Stuff!

You have just today yet to get your Our Craft Lounge Challenge Cards in....and I couldn't let this one slip past, though Valentine's Day is over....the Vintage Valentine set works well for friendship as well.

I stamped my images, colored them with Copic markers and fussys cut them.  The butterfly die is from My Mind's Eye and the tag is embellished with Washi Tape, Baker's Twine and a small scalloped border.  The back panel is embossed with the Cuttlebug Victoria embossing folder.

Be sure to stop back tomorrow and see what the new Our Craft Lounge Challenge will be!

Now for the rest of the sweetness...my 9, almost 10 year old son made us a valentine's dinner, mostly unassisted.  He dug out the tablecloth, candles and selected the dishes and napkins and rings.
His menu is from a 4 Ingredient Cookbook that he bought from my sister-in-law's rummage sale stuff.
Pictured above is: Company Chicken, Spicy Green Beans and Cheese Puffs.  Not pictured is the Chocolate Pound Cake.

He wasn't so impressed with his Cheese Puffs, so not only did he get to practice his fractions and time management, he also learned that every time you make something it isn't always what you expect!
We enjoyed our special gift and look forward to his next attempts in the kitchen!
We also spent a little time this week with class valentines.  LITTLE being the key word!  I think we cranked these out in just over an hour, he had fun using the Vagabond!  Flowers for the girls and trucks for the boys...no lovey-dovey stuff here; just to/from on the back.    Mom made a quick *flowerbox* to aid in delivering the flowers...fun times!
