Glitter and Acetate with Embossing Folders
Hello there! Today's Glue-ista post for The Rubber Cafe features a fun technique with You're So Fine Glitter and Scrap Happy Glue!
I just love the look of running acetate through an embossing folder...it's just so......nifty! I used product packaging for this project...though acetate works too.
Once embossed, I flipped the panel over and then proceeded to add glue and glitters color by color starting with the darkest colors of glitter and working towards the lighter ones.
The glue will be white on the reverse side until it dries...but once it does....you have a gorgeous bacground panel. The glitter is all contained, so it doesn't even come off!
I attached my acetate panel to my card with glue dots behind the flower centers or petals.
Supplies:
Carousel Horse
Imagine
Copic Markers: T4, T2, E47, E44, E43, YG17, RV66, RV55, V09, V06, V04
Scrap Happy Glue
You're So Fine Glitter: Lilac Purple, Diva Pink, Purple Rocks, Silver Medal, Diamond Clear Cool Highlight, Limeade Green
