Chilly Winter Night

This card is one I did for the EIO Design Team. It features Basic Grey's Figgy Pudding Paper, SU!'s Sahara Sand cardstock and white glimmer cardstock. I love the criss-cross cards...and that is sorta funny since I originally didn't think I liked them at all!! I also said I'd never scrapbook...and I'd never live in a ranch, in town or have a small kitchen. ...guess what?! I have all three...and it's not half bad and scrapbooking is FUN!!
Back to the card....I faux stitched and distressed all of the edges of the designer paper before attaching them to the cardstock. I used the giga scallop punch from Marvy and punched 1/8 inch holes around the edge. I used my Creative Memories circle cutter on the brown paper. The silver snowflakes are both rub-ons by Basic Grey. I slightly sanded the white Bazzil brad before applying the rub-on. White ribbon is by May Arts, and the card has small holes/notches to keep the ribbon from slipping. There are two ribbons, one on each side, if that makes sense. Silver glitter dot found at Archiver's. Love the SU! tab punch and that dotted paper, fun! The Sahara Sand piece on the insert is stamped in Versamark ink with a stamp from the Winterland stamp set by Basic Grey.

Beautiful! Just love that idea of the holes in your punch out - ideal to utilise for ribbon!
