Split Negative

Now there's nothing flowery about this card....excepting maybe the markers in the background!! It's a birthday card I made for my brother. It's one of those quick cards that is easy but is striking. The motorcycle stamp is by Stamps Happen, Inc. I embossed it in black detail embossing powder on white cardstock and in white detail embossing powder on black cardstock. Then I trimmed the images leaving a narrow border. I then mounted the split images on opposite colors and finally on red cardstock. The happy birthday stamp is by Savvy Stamps. The ribbon is a found item....from a Mary Engelbreit pen/notepaper gift set.

Don't forget...there is Blog Candy for the winning on Saturday night....join Sketch Challenge #3 at http://www.embellish-online.com/ and follow the directions in the prior post! Good Luck!!

This is the best split negative card I've ever seen. Your layers and your found girly turned racing flag ribbon are just awesome. Your brother will love it I'm certain. :0) Mel
