Just For You~

This is my second Faux Velvet- My Way card. Same paper, the lighter color. Very fun stuff!
The designer paper is Background Papers Book 3 (Springtime)...love the colors in it! The punches used are Marvy purple scallop oval, Marvy pink oval and Martha Stewart flower. Cuttlebug paisley folder, Creative Imaginations Ribbon, Printworks sentiment, Penny Black butterfly. The butterfly is done using the wet wipe technique. You drop reinkers onto a folded wet wipe making your own rainbow type *ink pad.* For this I used Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink and Almost Amethyst (SU!). The white layers on this card are shimmer paper.

So pretty! I love the soft colors and how the butterfly looks like it's flying off the cardfront.

Beautiful!!!! Is the paper thin or thinker like cs? Very cool technique. I have sanded raised edges with paper/cs that has a white center, but mine was more shabby looking. I will have to try sanding lighter. Love the technique on the butterfly too. I have never done that tech before.
