Learn how to fly!
I'm back! I'm over my cold and my rummage sale was a success! I take the kids to the dr tomorrow to see if they *still* have ear infections...but the colds seem to be gone. Hubby seems to have more than a cold.....no fun.
This card was done on glossy paper that I did the baby wipe swipe technique on. For this you simply fold a baby wipe the long way into a long narrow strip. I *pinch* mine around a pencil into a very *rustic* stamp. Then I drop drops of reinkers randomly down the wipe in a row. For this one I used Certainly Celery and Almost Amethyst. The drops do not have to touch...this leaves nice little white streaks which I think are very funky. Then just pull your *stamp* across a sheet of glossy cardstock. You can do straight lines, curvy lines or in this case....I did plaid!
For this card I had the idea to run the glossy piece through the cuttlebug and then sand the stripes for some subtle interest. The stamp is by Artisitc Outpost. The flower is by Prima, the ribbon by May Arts, the gem by EK Success.
