CropStop - Wet Challenge!
This is one of TWO posts today....so be sure to check out the other post for more INSPIRATION!!
Today I'm posting for CropStop and there is a new CropStop Challenge for you! This week's challenge is to use something WET on your cards. Be sure to check out the CropStop blog for more challenge details and inspiration by the CropStop design team!
I have a special coupon code for my blog readers....enjoy!!
THANKS! Coupon Code CTMP-01 saves my readers 10%!
For my wet elements I used Ranger's Liquid Pearls in White Opal and some Tsukineko Fireworks in Lilac Posies. I applied both directly to my Ranger Craft Mat and then mixed them together with my rubber brayer.
I applied the mixture to the inside of my Cuttlebug Victoria Embossing Folder and embossed a piece of light pink cardstock. I inked the folder so the indented areas are covered with the wet mixture. Wash your embossing folder with water. Before wiping up my craft mat, I placed an A2 piece of white glossy cardstock face down in the brayered mixutre, covering the entire panel with the ink. I used this panel for my Heartfelt Creations Daisy Patch Flowers and the pink panel in the center of the card. Nothing wasted!!
When the embossed panel dried, I then hit the embossed areas with a black Stazon ink pad. The embossed and pierced oval on my card is from the Cuttlebug Embossing Plus Folder called Elegant Ellipse.
This was a very fun challenge...and we hope you join us!
