Fancy Evelopes With The Rubber Cafe
This week's challenge at The Rubber Cafe is to make a fancy envelope. I am giving you a quick and easy way to dress up an envelope to coordinate with your card!
For my card I used the State Fair set, which is a fun new set that came out this summer! I chose to go with the Peach Preserves image in the set and combine it with a sentiment from the Fruit Medley set for a homey country kitchen feel. I was inspired by a piece of Crate Paper and colored my image with 3 Copic markers: YR20, B0000 and G20.
I framed my image with the Beaded Circle die from Spellbinders. I left cardstock in the die and added a touch of color with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Dried Marigold.
For my coordinating envelope, I simply embossed the left 1.5 inches with a coordinating Cuttlebug Embossing folder. I like clean and simple envelopes, but this gives them a fun touch of class!
Be sure to pop by and enter for your chance to win this weeks prize and be inspired by all of the fancy envelopes the design team is sharing!
Also be sure you check out the Rubber Cafe's new website! It's fun and easier to navigate! Check out the gallery for lots of samples!

What a great way to decorate the envelope - I too don't like super fancy envelopes, so this is such a simple classy way to go.
