Poppy Stained Glass

It's Digital Tuesday, and our challenge today is to use our stash!

I used an embossing folder that I picked up a while ago on this card...that hasn't yet seen the blog.  There are also some Stampendous heart stickers on here that have been around for a bit....don't know why though...they are fun little fellas!

My image on this card is from McMahon Five Designs and is called Stained Glass.  I came up with a different technique on this card....new to me anyway!  I printed the digital image off onto some transparencies that are made for inkjet printers.  Then I colored the back of the acetate with my Copic Markers, sort of painted, if you will.  The ink floats over the surface and you can move it and blend it a bit, though it feels very different from blending on paper.  Copic colors:  E47, YG67, BG45, R22, R21.
Finally, I ran the image through my Xyron, printed side down and applied glittered flock to the back of the image.  This gives a soft sparkly backing to your image.  I fussy cut it and applied it to my embossed panel with Glue Dots.

Be sure you stop by the Digital Tuesday Blog to see the other inspiration and join in the fun for a chance to win you some goodies to stash! ;)

I love the way you have made the center graphic pop with the use of the embossing in the background.
