Monochromatic Craft Concepts Card Duo!
This week's challenge on the CropStop blog is monochromatic cards. I have two for you today that also feature the very fun new Crafts Concepts embossing folders.
The first card features the Crafts Concepts Bees Delight embossing folder. I decided to go *un-bee-ish* for my theme. I embossed the acetate panel from the packaging and love the alternate design I got...a chevron/diamond stripe! How cool is that?!
I simply attaced my acetate panel to some eggplant cardstock with glue dots hidden behind the Candi Dots embellishments and sentiment.
The focal image is from Cuttlebug's Mini Embossing Folders - Birthday Jelly set.
For my second card today, I used Craft Concept's Tall Trees Embossing Folder.
I also used the packaging acetate for this card. First I painted the back with some Making Memories Honeydew Scrapbook Colors paint. Once dry, I ran the piece through the Big Shot with the paint side down. I could have reversed this and then sanded the tree's lightly....but for this piece I went for a more muted embossed look, I liked the streaked paint.
This card is embossed with some Candi Dots embellishments and ribbon. Stamps are from SU!'s Trendy Trees set and went well with this embossing folder.
THANKS! Coupon Code CTMP-2 saves my readers 10% on their ENTIRE ORDER!!! Enjoy!!
We would love to see you play along with our challenge. Some lucky participant will receive some free goodies!
