Prickley Pear THURSDAY!

It's been a crazy-busy week here....with some CHA and other deadlines looming....but I had time to make some fun masculine cards using the NEW Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps image called Vintage Cars ATC.

For this first card I stamped the image on some GCD Studios Antiquities paper.  I tore the definition of Jorney out of some Hot Off The Press papers from the Classic Creative Pack.

For the embossed panel, I embossed the cArt-Us  Brick Wall embossing folder on some platinum metallic coated cardstock.  I sanded the panel and applied some black ink over the top. 

I stamped the diamond design from PPRS and Happy Birthday from the Clearly Beautiful Butterflies 2 set.
Metallic Candi embellishments finish my card.

 

This second card is similar, except I used an ivory metallic coated cardstock.  When I sanded this after embossing, it gave me a fun sueded look which is really fun IRL.   

I embellished with some linen thread and a Making Memories brad.
