Spread Your Wings!

This is one of two posts today, so be sure to scroll for more inspiration!
My second post today is for The Rubber Cafe.  The Large Trailing Butterflies did not leave my desk after last Sunday's post.

I have a new love....Scrap Happy Glue!  For my background of my card, I stamped my image in glue and then let it dry.  Once dry, I came back and covered it with Diamond Clear Cool Highlight You're So Fine Glitter!  Then, to bring out the shine, simply buff the images with your finger....your result: a beautiful and subtle background.

Next I stamped and colored my trailing butterflies.  I painted them with Faber Castel Gelatos in Cotton Candy and BlueBerry.  As a final touch, I added a bit of the Silver Metallic Gelatos for a subtle shimmer.  I fussy cut the painted butterflies and attached them with glue and foam tape for dimension.

I stamped the Spread Your Wings sentiment with Stazon ink onto Vellum.  Popped my ribbon on with some One and Only Tape.

Stunning - just wish I could see all the shine IRL! It sounds fabulous.
