Time for Tea!

Tea bag folding that is!  Tis the season for sun tea finally....and we have been enjoying it!   

I ran across a few tea bag folding cards in my file.  This is a technique that originated folding the actual tea bag papers long ago.  It has been adapted in the papercrafting world, there are tea bag tile stamps and in this case tea bag tile papers that are all pre-printed and ready to go. 

This is one of the basic folds called a kite fold.  You start with eight tiles that are exactly the same.  Depending on the orientation when you fold them and the design you are working with you can create a variety of run effects. 

 

The centers of these cards are finished with a crocheted flower and a pansy button.
