The Rubber Cafe: Creative Packaging Blog Hop

Welcome to a new recurring event, The Rubber Cafe's Creative Packaging Blog Hop.  We want to inspire you to be creative with leftovers pieces you may have from your Creative Cafe kits...use them in fun new ways to add some pizzazz to your gifts or holiday place settings!

This month we were asked to use products from October's Christmas Behind the Scenes or November's Now We're Cooking Creative Kits.

If you have arrived from Debbie's blog, you are right on track.  Be sure you check them all out as well as The Rubber Cafe's blog for your chance to win some fun!

For my packaging this month I decided to use the *covers* of the 6x6 paper pads that are included in each kit!  I have resigned myself to cutting into the many beautiful papers to make my projects each month.  And often there is not much left after I get done with the paper pads...except the covers!   How can I throw those away?  They caught my eye and inspired me....and I decided to use them up too!

A tad of fussy cutting around the Made From Scratch label was perfect to layer on a folded piece of paper from the kit. I added a little label to cover the designer name and tell what is in the bag.   I used a scrap of the designer paper to stamp my recipe card (Whipped Up) on and then decorated the back just a bit more (shown below)

The brownies are decorated with the cover of the Santa Express paper pad,  I added a few little touches from the
