McMahon Five Designs New Release!

New images are being released today at McMahon Five Designs.  I have two cards for you today.

My first card features the Vasser Rhine Windmill image.  I colored the image with Copic Markers and then cut it out.  To make the three coordinating layers, I used my SU! layering tool in three different sizes.  The outer layer I pierced and then distressed for some added character.

The woodgrain embossing folder from Sizzix/Tim Holtz is distressed with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink to highlight the grains.  A bit of brown ribbon is my finishing embellishment.

My second card features and image from Shawne at Studio 313's Cupcake Cuties 2 set.  I used similar Copic colors and papers from BasicGrey's Hopscotch Collection.

Be sure you check out the McMahon Five Design Blog for more inspiration and the rest of the release!

ooooohhh, the cupcake is my favorite! What a perfect image for a boy!
Michelle these are fabulous. I so admire the way you take images that I can't see 'how' I could use and make such an awesome card with them!!
Love all the texture in the windmill one, and the less conventional colours in the cupcake card :-)
