Trees in the Moonlight

Ooooh!  It's Prickley Pear Monday and I have a fun card for you today!  It is Dare To Get Dirty over at Splitcoaststampers...and I am on a mission to complete every one of the challenges...I have a pretty good start, but I have a long ways to go!

This card features EE0141 Happy Halloween 2, HH0141 Trees in the Moonlight.

I did a spot of paper piecing for the moon and the reflection.  I did a fun reflection technique on this card.  I stamped the tree image on the grey cardstock.  Then I inked up the image again and stamped it on a piece of acrylic and then used that to stamp the mirror image along the bottom of the card.

To further make my image appear to be reflecting, I gave it a wash of Tim Holtz Picket Fence Distress Stain.

The only other embellishment is washi tape and some Candi dots.  Thanks for stopping by!
Click on the Prickley Pear blog link in my sidebar and check out what the other team members have been up too...there is a great variety of cards this week!
