Craft Hoarders Anonymous - October Guest Designer!

This is my second post today, please be sure to scroll to see my card for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps!
This month I have been given the opportunity to Guest Design for the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog.  This week is Challenge #17 Happy Fall, Y'all!
Many of us like to purchase NEW seasonal products EVERY season. What happens to last year's fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving products? We HOARD them! Our challenge was to drag out those hoarded fall-themed items and make a project to share!
My first card features some fun paper from Creative Imaginations.  I'm not sure how old the paper is, but it is not this year's fare.  The pumpkins I tangled in are a Lasting Impressions die #LL515 that is dated 2005.  I am sure I never have used this die for it's intended use...but since I dipped my toes into Zentangle-inspired art I have been enjoying my stencils!  The Glitter Dots are from Dress It Up and were picked up from the Archiver's bins in the day.  Finally, the bows on the pumpkins are some fun varigated floss that I picked up at a big box craft store in my cross-stitching days.
My second card features an older pumpkin stamp that has been stamped on some polished stone papers I had in my stash since last year.  Again you see the glitter dots.  The fall tag I picked up at a stamp convention years ago, it is carved into a copper coated piece of plastic.  I added some black nailheads to cover up the brad holes.  That beautiful paper has been in my stash for some time.  It was run through an old Cuttlebug folder and then sanded.  I don't see the markings on the paper, but the gold foil is the perfect punch with the glossy polished stone papers. Finally, the gold twine that is wrapped around the center of the card is some vintage gold fiber that is just perfect as a simple and flat embellishment.
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Be sure to pop on over to the Craft Hoarders Anonymous blog to see what the other designers have pulled out of their stash.  Come on back here on October 27 to see what the next challenge entails!

What amazing cards Michelle - so glad you raided your stash to make them - isn't it amazing what we hoard and think 'one day I will use it' - I am guilty as charged!
Blessings

What a wonderful card. I'm so happy you are on the design team this month. It never even occurred to me to Zentangle my line art stamps. Your black and white pumpkins have so much more punch than if you had merely colored them. Those pumpkins on that background paper are sensational. Thank you so much for your contributions to CHACB.
Your pumpkin patch is zentastic! Wow! Love this fabulous card!!! Thanks so much for being our guest DT at Craft Hoarders Anonymous!
