Card Candy and Forum Freebies!

Today's post is about Card Candy....little homemade emellishments that can be made ahead and then gifted or used on future scrapbooks and cards to make them fall together in a hurry. These sets use SU! stamps other than the friends stamp that is by Printworks and the alphabet stamps used for the topper which are My Sentiment's Exactly. Colors are Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink and Lavender Lace. The Sparkle Dot stickers are by Stampendous! The Glitter Dots are by Dress It Up. I used SU! white craft ink. When done creating the pieces, use glue dots or scrapbook mounting squares and attach them to waxed paper. I cover a piece of cardboard for stiffness on mine...but that is entirely optional. Edited to add: I slip the cardboard with the candy on it into a cello envelope, seal it and then attach the topper to the top.

I am posting a card candy challenge in my Embellish-Online forum....complete with Forum Freebies for a lucky participant. Check it out, I'd love to see your creations!!!

Great card candy - did you use a cello bag or anything, or just the topper? I tried making card candy once, but I mistakenly put the glue dots on acetate rather than waxed paper, and I couldn't get them off again! :) Oops! Lessons learned:)
I keep thinking I'm going to do this everytime I see someone post them on SCS and I've yet to try. I got a *million* things to do before my crop, but maybe I can sneak this in. Ü
