Figgy Fishin' & Faux Faux Sea Glass

Oh man.....I'm so far behind on my birthday cards....and I can squirm all I want....but I've got no excuses! Thought this would bring a smile to my cousin's face....he's 11 and somehow they think underwear are funny at that age! Image is by Stampendous! and is colored with Copic/Studio2 pens and Spica glitter highlights the water, fish, pole and lures. The lures are by Great Impressions. The base card is River Rock by SU! and the designer paper is from Basic Grey's Figgy Pudding Collection. I ran it through the Cuttlebug spots and dots embossing folder and then sanded it and distressed the edges. The card is wrapped in fishing line and a homemade fishing line knot and some cut out lures are the embellshments. The verse is typed up on the computer.
I had some vellum scraps leftover from my last faux sea glass card and decided to try to using them on some laminating sheets. The look is similar, however I like the *bumpy* look I got on the other card with the ultrathick clear embossing powder and versamark.

I stamped the SU! sand dollar in black on Sahara Sand cardstock and highlighted the sand dollar with a white prismacolor pencil. I ran the aqua vellum through the swirl Cuttlebug embossing folder. The verse is by PSX and the starfish is by My Sentiments Exactly! and is stamped in Creamy Caramel, stamped off once.
