Going Green Again!

I posted a challenge recently in my forum at EIO to recycle something on your card. On this card I recycled the quilled flower from another card. The card base is white and is a tri-fold that lifts at the white scallops. I ran the Elegant Eggplant throught the Paisley Cuttlebug embossing folder and then highlighted it with the Lavender Copic Spica glitter pen. The green cardstock has been run through the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and is SU's River Rock. The amethyst frame is from The Paper Cut. I stamped the swirl from Basic Grey's Insignia stamp set in Elegant Eggplant ink before faux stitching around it. Hello is stamped with Karen Foster's snap stamps. Ribbon is by Creative Impressions. If you feel like playing along with the challenge....leave me a link here or there, I'd love to see what you've come up with!!

I've been busy catching up this week after being sick....laundry, ironing, paperwork, grocery shopping and now a bit of organizing. I decided to give inque boutique's stamp keepers a try for some of my unmounted stamps. Pop by tomorrow for some photos and my thoughts on them.

Very pretty card, love this aubergine colour too!
WOW! So pretty. I love the elegant eggplant & the white. Your frame is so perfect too. I think I have to add quilling onto my list of things to learn with those gorgeous teabag flowers. You are WAY too good! Lovin' it!
